Do you think Halloween is an evil holiday?

I love halloween and many people do not know the true history behind it. If you think it is an evil holiday it is not. It stems from a celtic pagan holiday. They believed spirits walked the earth that night and searched for bodies to take over. The Pagans would put masks on to full the spirits and make them think they were not human.The Catholic church made all Saint’s and all Soul’s day around Halloween to help convert the pagans. A true witch does not worship the devil. They worshiped gods and goddesses just like the Roman’s, Greeks, and almost all ancient cultures. They had a god with horns and he was not the devil. Think of fawns for example. The Catholic church said they were evil and worshipped the devil. I am only giving you a few brief examples. I make angels and opened a separate shop for selling my Halloween crafts. I don’t want  to upset my angel customers and just wanted to start sharing my Halloween crafts here. Christmas in July

I decided to have a Christmas in July sale in my etsy shop. If you buy anything in my Christmas shop section you will get a free surprise gift I made by hand. The more you order will determine the value of you gift. Below is one of my Christmas angel designs. So many people loved my Swedish angel. I thought I would make another angel with that same hair. June Birthstone Angel

I made a full line of birthstone Angels and angel pins. the Angel pictured below is my June one. She measures 4″by 3″. Isewed her in a blue dress . An etsy shop in Loving Memory of a Mother’s Daughter

I have become friends with a  dear lady named Elaine. Her dear 12 year old daughter was hit by a car on 1-2-07 and joined the angels on this tragic day for her mother. I was touched by her story and just wanted to share it with you. Her daughter had a dream of being a fashion designer. This lady opened an etsy shop where she donates all the proceeds to bursary (scholarship) , heartstrings. So someone can go to a fashion design school or an art school program in her name. An Apple For The Teacher Angel

I am always looking for new ideas for my angels. I loved my graduation angel and thought how cute the glasses made her look. So I had an apple scented candle with a glass red apple on the top and thought how about a gift angel for a teacher. I gave her the same glasses to make her look like a studious student and glued the apple in her hands that she is presenting to the teacher. I just posted her to my etsy shop and she is a one of a kind angel unless I can find more lovely miniature apples. She measures 4″ by 3″ and is sure to put a amile on your face when you see her cute smiling face and adorable ponytails with yellow bows. Graduation Angel

This is my newest creation. I was going through the store and saw some graduation gifts and thought wouldn’t it be nice to make a graduation angel.I came home and started to make one yesterday. I sewed her in a black graduation gown and made a graduation cap. I rolled a small piece of white cardboard and tied a red string to make the diploma she is holding in her hands. I wanted to do something really different and I thought how cute one of my angels would look wearing eye glasses. Birthstone Angel Pins

I posted a few of my birthstone angel pins earlier in the year. The pictures below are the remaining months.   Starting with the first picure is October,November, December, January, February,and March. I sewed them by hand and they measure 2″ by 2″. October’s birthstone is either the opal or pink toumaline. I chose to use a pink gem.Pink happens to be my favorite color and the pink tourmaline  is a symbol of hope and is also known as the peace stone.  I just added thse to my etsy shop today. Swedish Flag Angel

This is the latest in my collection of flag angels. I had alot of fun making this one because most of my angels have ponytails and I love her adorable braids. Many people like to collect dolls around the world and I thought  it would be really nice to start a collection of Flag angels.
